Shree Sharda Mandir Kanya Prashala was established in 1916 during the Nizam era with the noble objective of providing education in the Marathi language to girls. It is known as the first girls' school in the Marathwada region. Today, the institution has grown into one of the leading and respected schools in Maharashtra.

With the aim of shaping responsible, capable, and enlightened citizens of the nation, the school constantly strives to nurture and develop its students. Along with the regular academic curriculum, the school emphasizes co-curricular and unique activities to ensure the holistic development of students’ hidden talents, abilities, and personalities.

Our guiding principle is “The development of students is our mission.” We are committed to fulfilling this goal with dedication and sincerity.

Keeping pace with changing times, the school has adopted modern educational practices. Teaching and learning are conducted through modern computerized classrooms. Students are also introduced to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Robotics through the Atal Tinkering Lab.

Along with academic examinations, teachers sincerely work to empower students with the confidence and skills needed to face new challenges in life. Students are guided not only to improve their marks but also to enhance their overall quality and capabilities.

Former students of the school are making remarkable contributions in diverse fields such as arts, sports, science, literature, journalism, media, cinema, theatre, industry, engineering, medical sciences, and administrative services.

Today, many of our alumni are serving the nation and even working abroad with distinction, proudly carrying forward the legacy of the school. This achievement is a matter of great pride for the entire institution.
